Beaver Brae Drama Club ready to sell Wonka Bars

By Tim Davidson Nov 24, 2023 | 3:39 PM

The Beaver Brae Drama Club is ready to sell Wonka Bars.

It’s to raise money for the Beaver Brae Parents Council, prior to their musical, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in February.

Jodie Peloquin is one of the organizers of a craft sale they will be sold at.

“We’re going to be doing a Winter Wonderland sale at Beaver Brae Secondary and Intermediate School,” says Peloquin as she was joined by members of the drama club for the announcement.

“We have 47 vendors plus two student and staff-led tables outside along side a huge tea party, either to go or at our sale.  We’ll have the Salvation Army Kettle here for just a donation for admission.”

The Winter Wonderland sale will take place from 9 am until 2 pm on Saturday at the big Beaver Brae Gym.

The chocolate bars will also be available at:  Lake of the Woods Chiropractor and Wellness, the Seasons shop, Playa Vida, the Hungry Pug Café, Iron and Clay, Sweet, Rabbit Lake Store, Spirit Oak and Redden’s.

Five of the chocolate bars will also contain a golden ticket, which is good for VIP seating and a chocolate goodie basket at the Willie Wonka Show.
