Both Red Lake High School and St. Thomas Aquinas from Kenora are in southern Ontario for the start of the All-Ontario Championships.

The Rams senior boys are competing for the first time at the OFSAA Single A volleyball championships in Kitchener.

Their first game is this morning at 9:00 against Almaguin Highlands south of North Bay.

In all, they will play three games on Thursday and one game on Friday in round robin play.

In the meantime, the Saints senior girls basketball team is ranked 16th out of 18 teams at the OFSSA championships, and play at 9:45 this morning against the number 6 seed, Nicholson Catholic College from Belleville.

This is a triple knock out tournament and the Saints will play their second game either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning depending if they win or lose.
