The Yarmouth Mariners had a win and an overtime loss on the weekend.

They beat the Truro Bearcats 4-3 on the road Saturday night.

Keefe Marshall scored twice, and goalie Thomas Fontaine was stellar with 48 saves.

It followed up an overtime loss on Friday night at home to Pictou County.

The Mariners had a 5-2 lead early in the third, but watched it slip away to a 6-5 loss in extra time.

Ben Williams took the loss in goal, Will Chisholm had 2 goals for Yarmouth.

The Mariners welcome Valley to the Fishtank on Thursday night.
