The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has announced that there are three new COVID-19 Outbreaks, in the city bringing the total to five.

Hogarth Riverview Manor’s 5 South unit at the Orchid Resident Home Area, St. Joseph’s Hospital’s 3 South at the Rehabilitative Care Services, and Southbridge Pinewood’s Blue Heron Unit are all currently experiencing new outbreaks.

Outbreaks at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre Unit 2A and Chartwell Thunder Bay Retirement Residence are still ongoing.

There are restrictions on admissions, transfers, discharges, social activities, and visitation in the affected area of the facilities until further notice.
