The Main Street Christmas Tree has been put into place.

The city says the accommodate the transportation of the tree, 12th Avenue North between Valley Drive and 9th Street North was closed this morning.

The tree then make it’s way down Main Street South to it’s final resting at the corner of Main and Second Streets South.

The city says Main Street South between Second Street South and Third Street South will be closed to all traffic today and Thursday as CJ Edwards, Synergy North and City Crews position the tree and complete decorating.

The tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 17th starting at 5:30.
