Three people are facing charges after a loaded firearm was seized in Clayton Park.
Police say it was November 10 around 7:30pm in the area of Dunbrack St and Lacewood Drive, when a vehicle was stopped for operating dangerously.
A loaded firearm as well as ammunition was seized.
Two men aged 30 and 39 and a 27-year-old woman were arrested and will appear in court facing these charges:
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition obtained by crime
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of a firearm in vehicle
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon with ammunition (x2)
- Possession of a firearm without a license
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace (x2)
- Transporting a firearm or restricted weapon contrary to the regulations
- Unsafe storage of a firearm
