An attempted assault with a machete at the bus terminal in Dartmouth.
Police say it was around 2:30pm, Monday, on Nantucket Avenue when two men were arguing on a bus.
The men got off the bus and one tried to assault the other with a machete.
The 44-year-old suspect was arrested, and officers seized the weapon.
He is facing these charges:
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of weapon dangerous to the public
- Possession of a weapon contrary to a court order
There were no reported injuries.
