A chance to have your say on the future planning and land-use in the Municipality of Yarmouth.

A public hearing is taking place Tuesday night at 6:30 the Hebron Rotary Centre.

Written submissions are no longer being accepted, but if you want to speak at the meeting, you’ll need to register with the municipal office by 5 o’clock today.

Some of the changes include a sensitive environment zone, broader housing options and expanded commercial use of the airport stretch.

The hearing is expected to be strongly attended, as many residents have voiced concerns about the new strategy and by-law.
