Halifax Regional Police have laid firearms and drug trafficking charges against three people in the Spryfield area.

Thursday morning investigators conducted a search of a River Road home.

They seized a firearm, ammunition, cocaine and hydromorphone.

Officers arrested three men ages 31, 35 and 56 at the scene.

The accused are scheduled to appear in court.
