UPDATE
Ontario511 reporting as of 10:46 a.m Eastern the Noden Causeway has reopened to traffic.

A second update sent at the same time indicates there was a collision on the roadway.

No details on the collision have been released.

If you plan on taking Highway 11 in to or out of Fort Frances you might have to take an alternate route.

Poor road and weather conditions have closed the Noden Causeway.

Ontario511 reported the closure at 8:30 a.m. Central.

Traffic control is in place and motorists are asked to use caution in the area.
