Remembrance Day ceremonies in Greater Moncton area

City of Moncton

Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 Remembrance Day Ceremony
Arrive by 10 a.m.
Moncton Coliseum, 377 Killam Dr.

Community Remembrance Day Ceremony
10:45 a.m. to 11: 15 a.m.
Victoria Park, 223 Weldon St.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch #54 Remembrance Day Ceremony
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sunny Brae Park, 85 Massey Ave.

Road Closure for Sunny Brae Remembrance Day Parade

At approximately 10:45 a.m., traffic will be held to allow the procession to make its way from the Sunny Brae Legion, 164 Broadway St., to the Remembrance Day ceremony. The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at Sunny Brae Park, located at 85 Massey Ave.

At approximately 12 p.m., following the conclusion of the ceremony, traffic will be held to allow the procession to return to the Sunny Brae Legion.
Each procession is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. Streets will be reopened as the procession passes.

Town of Riverview 

Where: Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (5 Fatima Drive) starting at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Veterans will queue at the Dan Bohan Centre to march into the church alongside fire and police personnel, local cadets, guides and scouts.
Memorial crosses can be pre-arranged for the public to place during the ceremony

City of Dieppe

Where: École Mathieu-Martin (511 Champlain Street)

The parade, made up of veterans, cadets and members of the RCMP, will form at 10:30 a.m. and will make its way indoors for the ceremony that commemorates the signing of the Armistice, formalizing the end of World War I in 1918.

A reception will follow at the Dieppe Golden Age Club (445 Acadie Avenue).

Salisbury Legion

10 am -Church Service
10:55 am -Cenotaph service

Town of Shediac

10:30 am Outdoor ceremony at Pascal Poirier Park, Shediac and the Cenotaph.

Open house to follow at the Legion .
