Cantaloupe recall

By Kelli Rickard Nov 6, 2023 | 10:26 AM

Some cantaloupes have been recalled due to Salmonella.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Malichita brand fruit was sold in Nova Scotia between October 22nd and November 1st.

Recalled cantaloupe melons should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.

The agency says there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the product.

If you think you became sick from consuming recalled Malichita cantaloupes, contact your healthcare provider.
