Halifax Regional Police have made an arrest in relation to the 2022 murder of a Spryfield woman.
On May 17th of last year, 37-year-old Chauntel Lizette MacIntyre was found stabbed in the area of Sylvia Avenue and Herring Cove Road.
Police say she was taken to hospital where she later died of her injuries.
Following an autopsy, the Medical Examiner ruled MacIntyre’s death a homicide.
This morning investigators arrested a 31-year-old woman at a Halifax residence.
Meanwhile, police believe there are people who have information about MacIntyre’s murder and are appealing to them to come forward with what they know.
