It looks like New Brunswick drivers will be getting a break at the fuel pumps this week.

The maximum price for gasoline is expected to fall around three cents per litre on Thursday night.

Diesel prices will see a smaller drop, with the maximum price coming down more than one cent.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.67 per litre for regular self-serve and $2.10 per litre for diesel.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.66 to $1.70 per litre while diesel is selling for between $2.07 and $2.11 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.64 per litre while diesel costs around $2.09 per litre.
