Halifax police are investigating a collision involving a pedestrian early this morning in Bedford.

Officers responded to an injured person on Farmers Dairy Lane around 5:40am.

Police say a delivery truck struck the pedestrian who was walking in the centre of the roadway.

The 60-year-old man was taken to hospital.

A Collision Reconstruction Unit was on scene.
