Officials with Coseil scholaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales say police have visited all of their schools in the region to ensure there is no threat.

This comes a day after students at that board and several other boards across Northern Ontario were sent home after threats were directed towards the boards.

Ten schools with the French Catholic board, located in Thunder Bay, Geraldton, Nakina, Longlac, Terrace Bay, Marathon Red Lake, Dryden and Ignace were impacted.

Meanwhile Ontario Provincial Police say they are continuing to investigate the threats.
