The Sioux Lookout Bombers suffered their first regular time losses of the season.

The Thunder Bay North Stars beat the Bombers not once, but three times over the weekend.

On Sunday, the North Stars doubled up Sioux Lookout 4-2 and that followed up on a 5-4 decision for Thunder Bay on Saturday.

On Friday night, the North Stars edged the Bombers 3-2.

Elsewhere,  the Dryden GM Ice Dogs split their games against the Wisconsin Lumberjacks.

The Lumberjacks won 4-2 Sunday after losing 7-3 to Dryden Saturday.

After winning their first game Friday night 6-5 in a shootout over the Kenora Islanders, the Fort Frances Lakers dropped a 3-1 decision Saturday to the Kam River Fighting Walleye.

The Islanders  were blanked 9-0 on Saturday by the Red Lake Miners.

A tough road trip for the Kenora U18 AAA Thistles.

The Thistles were doubled up 8-4 by the Parkland Rangers on Sunday.

That followed up on a 5-3 decision by the Rangers on Saturday.

The Beaver Brae football team now knows who they’ll play in the semi-finals of the AAA division of the Winnipeg High School Football League.

The Broncos will take on the Tec Voc Hornet Thursday afternoon in Winnipeg.

Beaver Brae played the Hornets in the first game of the season and won 42-0.

The winner of that game play either the Fort Frances Muskies and the Dryden Eagles in the other semi-final on Friday.

That game has been moved to Winnipeg.
