A good day for Kenora athletes at the Pan Am games.
The Canadian Women’s 8 made history by winning gold in rowing.
Abby Dent from the Kenora Rowing Club was part of that team.
She also won a silver medal on Monday in the women’s coxless pairs race with Olivia McMurry.
In the pool, Canada won bronze in the 4 X 100 team medley relay.
Gabe Mastromatteo from the Kenora Shark Swim Club swam the breaststroke leg of the race.
The final day of the @Santiago2023 Pan American Games rowing regatta concluded with @TeamCanada rowers adding bronze in the Women’s Double, the nation’s fourth rowing medal of the Games.
