OPP cruiser - Acadia Broadcasting File

Members of the Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police Detachment have arrested and charged a 26-year-old, Jacques Township resident with impaired operation.

On the morning of October 23, 2023,  members of the Thunder Bay OPP Detachment located an individual walking in the back parking lot of the detachment.

Through investigation, it was determined that the individual was impaired by alcohol.

Further investigation revealed that the individual had operated a motor vehicle to arrive at the Thunder Bay OPP Detachment and was subsequently placed under arrest.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on December 5, 2023.
