An uptown Saint John restaurant is seeking information following a weekend break-in and theft.

East Coast Bistro was broken into sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning, the business posted on social media on Tuesday.

“One of the biggest losses is one of our laptop computers and bag,” said the post, which had been shared more than 150 times as of mid-afternoon Tuesday.

Also taken from the business was a USB device with “a decade of menus and recipes on it.”

They are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact them.

It was one of at least two weekend break-ins targeting local businesses or non-profit organizations in uptown Saint John.

Sophia Recovery Centre on Hazen Street was broken into sometime on Friday night, according to its executive director.

Among the items taken were around $1,200 or $1,300 worth of donations for a raffle draw scheduled to be held at its annual fundraising breakfast on Thursday.

Well…we have some news to share, the Bistro was robbed sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning. If anyone…
