A man is facing nearly 30 charges after a string of incidents in Shelburne County.
Yesterday, 2 vehicles collided on Highway 330 in North East Point.
The driver of one of the vehicles fled, and RCMP began the search with officers and police dogs.
About 2 hours later, a report of a vehicle theft in Centreville.
The Cape Sable Island Causeway was then closed, and police found the stolen vehicle, but the driver attempted to flee.
RCMP used spike belts to stop the man, he rammed 2 police cars that were parked at the roadside barrier before being arrested.
Officers found a loaded shotgun and rifle in the first vehicle the man ran from.
The 27-year old was taken into custody, he’ll be in court November 1st.
