The man wanted under a Province Wide Arrest Warrant has been taken into custody.
RCMP say 52-year-old Darren Trevor Jackson was arrested at a home in Colechester County this morning on Hwy 311.
Jackson was wanted in relation to a shooting that happened near a motel in Brookfield Sunday night, that left a woman with serious injuries, and prompted an emergency alert. The alert was cancelled the next day.
He is facing several charges including two counts of attempted murder.
