By Brad Perry Oct 19, 2023 | 2:35 PM

It looks like we will see a break at the fuel pumps in New Brunswick this week.

A source tells us that gasoline prices will fall nearly three cents per litre on Thursday night.

For those who use diesel, the maximum price is expected to drop by around half a cent.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.67 per litre for regular self-serve and $2.15 per litre for diesel.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.61 to $1.65 per litre while diesel is selling for between $2.08 and $2.13 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.62 per litre while diesel costs around $2.14 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
