After 15 years, a Councillor for Bedford-Wenworth will not be seeking re-election in 2024.

In a Facebook post Thursday morning, Tim Outhit said it was an honour and privilege to be the representative for District 16, but he will not be re-offering to serve.

“Over the next year my intention is to continue focusing on progressive policies for improvements to development, housing and transportation, fiscal and environmental responsibility, and support for our beloved community events,” Outhit said.

He says following next year’s election he will continue to advocate for services, facilities and infrastructure required in HRM.
