After 8 years, Nova Scotia Music Week is coming back to Yarmouth.

The showcase of the best musicians our province has to offer runs from November 2nd to 5th.

Kelsey Whynot with Music Nova Scotia says over 100 artists will be performing at several venues.

“We invite industry delegates from across Canada and around the world, and people travel from place to place year over year to Nova Scotia Music Week. We typically have about 2,200 unique attendees each year, including local attendees,” said Whynot.

Showcases run the first 3 nights, with an awards ceremony to be held on the final morning.

Whynot says they’ve been doing close work with the community, and they have a passionate host committee and volunteers.

“They truly are the backbone of what makes the festival possible. They help out in so many different roles, and we truly can’t do it without them.”

Tickets and wristbands are on sale now.
