Advanced voting for N.B. byelections

Local government byelections will be held on October 23rd, but residents will be able to cast early ballots.

Saturday, October 13 is advance voting day in the following regions.

•         Beaurivage (councillor-at-large, councillor for Ward 6)

•         Fredericton Junction (mayor)

•         Grand Lake (councillor for Ward 4)

•         Hanwell (councillor-at-large, councillor for Ward 4)

•         Neguac (councillor-at-large)

•         Riverview (councillor-at-large)

•         Southern Victoria (councillor for Ward 2)

•         Sunbury-York South (councillor for Ward 1)

•         Tracy (two councillors-at-large)

The advance polls will be open to eligible electors Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voter information cards were mailed out showing the location of polling stations.  Anyone who did not receive a card can visit Elections NB website for more information or call the local returning office.

Housebound or hospitalized voters unable to attend advance or ordinary polls can ask for a special ballot by contacting the returning office.
