Two people have been charged with firearms and drug trafficking offences in relation to an incident in Spryfield.
Halifax Regional Police say Friday night officers stopped a vehicle in the Avon Crecent area and arrested the driver – who had provided false information- as well as the passenger.
Police also seized crack cocaine along with a loaded firearm.
A 24-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were scheduled to face multiple charges in provincial court Tuesday.
