RCMP are looking for witnesses following a shooting in the community of St. Martins.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at a residence on Patterson Siding Road around 3:10 p.m. Friday.

“Police believe someone discharged a firearm several times towards the residence, struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene before police arrived,” Mounties said in a news release on Sunday.

Two people inside the home at the time of the incident were not hurt, said police.

Investigators are looking for an older style, maroon Ford F-150 truck with a black back rack behind the rear window and no rear license plate.

“We are looking to speak to any witnesses to the incident, as well as anyone who was on Patterson Siding Road between 3 and 3:30 p.m. on October 6, 2023,” says RCMP Sgt. Tyson Nelson.

“If you have dash-cam or other video footage from the area at the time of the shooting, please call police.”
