New Gold continues to be on a record-setting pace at its Rainy River Mine.

More than 64 thousand ounces of gold were produced over the past three months.

That puts this year’s production to nearly 20 per cent higher than it was this time last year.

President and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Godin says they remain on track to meet their expectations for this year.

The mine also produced over 111 thousand ounces of silver.

“Rainy River delivered on plan with a continued focus on operational discipline, cost control, and cost-saving initiatives,” says Godin.

Godin adds the mine also continues to advance underground operations.
