City police are investigating a pair of break and enters at a theatre company on the city’s south side.

Officers responded to the Cambrian Players Theatre on Spring Street before 9:00 a.m. Sunday after someone had gained entry to the building.

Police were also informed of a second break-in attempt on Monday.

In a post to social media the theatre company says the loss of property, merchandise and equipment is unfortunate, but thankfully there was no excessive vandalism to their space and most fortunate, nobody was in the building at the time of the incident.

The second break-in attempt resulted in a broken window according to Cambrian, as window bars had been installed between the two attempts.

They are now warning their neighbours to be on the lookout, cautious and to lock their doors.
