Despite the unseasonably warm weather, the City of Kenora is getting ready for freeze-up.

City staff are beginning to winterize the seasonal bathrooms.

That’s means they will be closed to the public as yesterday.

The water to the dog park is also being shut off.

There is a public washroom located at the Thistle Pavilion, which is open from 8 am until 9 pm daily.

The city says there are also public washrooms available at city hall, the Library, the Muse and the Moncrief Construction Sports Center.
