Students across Nova Scotia will be wearing orange today.
Schools are hosting Orange Shirt Day today, as National Truth and Reconciliation Day approaches.
Wearing the shirt embodies the ‘Every Child Matters’ movement.
It recognizes residential school survivors and those that didn’t make it home.
Assemblies and events are planned throughout schools today.
There will be no school for students on Monday.
