Broncos Thump Celtics

Beaver Brae scored early and often in trouncing the St. Norbert Celtics Friday afternoon at the Tom Nabb Soccer Complex.

The Broncos cruised to a 58-6 win.

Kellen Mandamin scored three touchdowns on the ground and had over 100 yards of rushing in the first quarter alone.

Grade 9 student Noah Rowe had a pair of touchdowns and had two more called back thanks to holding penalties.

Beaver Brae led 31-0 at half time.

The Celtics lone touchdown came in the fourth quarter when the Broncos substituted liberally.

The game started in pouring rain, but the skies cleared by halftime and the rest of the game was played in warm sunshine.

The Broncos final home game of the regular season is next Friday against the Fort Frances Muskies, who are also 4-0.

The Muskies won their game yesterday 46-0 against the St. John’s Tigers.
