Two people have been charged after separate driving incidents in the CBRM.
On the evening of September 16th on Hwy 125 in Upper North Sydney, an RCMP officer arrested a 52-year-old Alder Point man who was prohibited from driving in Canada due to a previous impaired driving conviction.
Roughly two hours later, the officer stopped a vehicle after it made a sudden sharp turn into the dirt and onto the exit ramp at Point Edward.
A 46-year-old Beaver Cove man was arrested and provided breath samples five times the legal limit.
Both drivers will appear in Sydney Provincial Court in November.
