Visits in units at three N.B. hospitals suspended

Vitalité Health Network has temporarily suspended visits in specific units at three hospitals in New Brunswick due to COVID-19 outbreaks.

The Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC (Zone 1B), specifically in unit 4E, where orthopedic, otorhinolaryngology, and plastic surgery are located is affected.

Also, in the rehabilitation unit on the 3rd floor of the Edmundston Regional Hospital (Zone 4) and at the Chaleur Regional Hospital (Zone 6), specifically in unit 3 West, where long-term care is
provided.

This applies to general visitors but does not currently affect designated support persons.

The ban will remain in place until further notice.
