Time is running out to purchase tickets for Dine with Doc an evening of fun, food and heart health discussions taking place at The Chanterelle this Friday.

Chair Cathy Eady says this is just one of many events the Northern Hearts hosts to promote heart health awareness.

“So we do a Walk with Doc usually at the end of June, we do a Talk with Doc so we do educational events throughout the year. So really what we’re really about is promoting healthy lifestyle.”

This is the second time the event is being held, the first was in 2019, but was put on hiatus due to the pandemic.

Dine with Doc will feature live music, Scotch tasting, and a four course meal, with the doctors in attendance explaining the heart health benefits of eating right as the meals are being prepared.

As well the recipe’s for the dishes will be published online after the event.

Ticket sales have been pushed back right up until September 21st, however only 120 tickets are available with a little over 75% sold so far and can be found by visiting Northern Hearts’ website.
