Tonight leadership hopefuls for Ontario’s Liberal Party will be in Thunder Bay to debate their issues.

The event is taking place at Lakehead University in the Faculty Lounge starting a 6:30 p.m.

Five people are seeking to take over and rebuild the party after it was decimated in the 2018 provincial election, causing it to lose official party status in Queen’s Park, followed up by another poor showing during the 2022 election.

They are, Bonnie Crombie, Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, Ted Hsu, Yasir Naqvi and Adil Shamji.

The new leader is expected to be announced on December 2nd.
