Officers executed a search warrant on the home located on Highway 201 in South Greenwood on September 7. They seized cocaine, morphine, methamphetamine, clonazepam, ammunition, scales, cash, cell phones, and illegal cigarettes. They also found and seized two firearms from the residence, a shotgun and a rifle that had a silencer attached to the end.

Police made three arrests at the scene. A 67-year-old woman, 43-year-old man, and a 35-year-old woman. They all face the following charges:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (4 counts).
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 counts).
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Device.
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized (2 counts).
  • Possession of a Device Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized.
  • Possession of a Firearm with Ammunition.
  • Unsafe Storage of a Firearm (2 counts).
  • Unsafe Storage of a Prohibited Device.
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

The two women were released on conditions, but the man remains in custody. In addition to the above charges, police have also charged him with three counts of possession of a firearm/device contrary to prohibition order.

He will appear in provincial court next month, while the two women are set to stand trial in November.
