Funding for more beautification of the Town of Yarmouth.

The town received over $18,000 from the province to help create more inviting public spaces.

They’re going to use the money to fix light poles downtown.

They’ll be painted and panels will be replaced, to allow for better light.

Another $25,000 was given to help the town hire someone to oversee the equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility of Yarmouth.

The coordinator will help move the town’s accessibility plan forward.
