Some big changes are coming to Dieppe’s public transit system.
The city is revamping transit so that all routes will run every day of the week. During the pandemic, the system had to reduce the schedule, but now things are finally back to pre-pandemic levels, or even better in some cases. Routes 93, 94 and 95 are set to offer more daily trips than ever before and will also run on Sundays for the first time ever. The city says the total number of service hours per week will rise to almost 300 for those routes.
The changes come into effect this Sunday, September 3rd, just in time for back-to-school season. For students looking to take the bus to and from school, Dieppe offers free youth passes to anyone under the age of 18.
