Money for a veterans centre in Digby County.

The Municipality of Clare and the feds announced 2.9 million dollars for the Clare Veterans Centre.

The joint investment will help the Saulnierville facility get a new accessible entry with concrete ramp and interior elevator.

The building is also getting a new facade, and a lot of interior renovations.

It will also help reduce emission costs by nearly 32 percent.

The feds will give over 2.3 million dollars, and the municipality is handling the rest.

Warden Yvon LeBlanc says the renos will be appreciated by all who will use the space for years to come.
