Ontario Provincial Police say a sudden death of a man in Silver Falls Provincial Park is non-suspicious but an investigation remains on going.
On Monday officers along with Thunder Bay Fire Services and Superior North EMS were dispatched to the park shortly before 4:00 p.m. to a report of a person who had fallen into the water.
A search was conducted with assistance from the Emergency Response Unit, but sadly a little over 4 hours later, the body of the 23 year old was found.
According to an online news site, The Tribune, based out of India, the victim was a student who came to Canada in 2021 to study at Lakehead University.
A post mortem is expected to take place to determine the cause of death.
