An argument Monday evening escalated to physical violence at a north side home.

The incident took place just after 11:00 p.m. during an argument between four people in the home, when a 17 year old assaulted an adult male in a wheelchair.

Following the assault the youth pulled out a knife and threatened the victim before fleeing the residence on foot.

Police were able to locate and apprehend the accused upon their arrival, while paramedics tended to the victim and later transported them to hospital for further treatment.

The accused faces several charges including:
• Assault with a Weapon
• Assault Causing Bodily Harm
• Uttering Threats – Death or Bodily Harm
• Failure to Comply with a Release Order

They are expected to appear in bail court Tuesday.
