Ontario Provincial Police say one person was killed following a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 11/17 and Balsam Street.

The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. between a tractor trailer unit and a pick up truck.

Investigators continue to process the scene and as a result the area will remain closed.
