A tough first day for local high school soccer teams at the All-Ontario championships.

The only team to post a win was the St. Thomas Aquinas girls teams, which finished day 1 with a record of a win and a loss.

The TA boys had a tie and a loss.

Both teams are competing in the “A” Division in London.

In the “AA” championships, both the Beaver Brae boys and the Fort Frances girls lost both their games.

All four teams will play two game to wrap up round robin play on Friday.
