Members of the city’s pickleball community were before council Monday evening seeking support for a centralized location to play their sport.

While no explicit ask for money was made, the pickleball club did ask the city to explore the feasibility of an indoor facility in the Northwood Playfield.

The group presented an idea to phase in 8 outdoor courts, which would evolve to include a clubhouse, four additional courts before enclosing the courts for all season play.
