The Vieille Maison in Meteghan needs your help to make it Canada’s Next Great Save.

The Acadian Museum is a finalist for the Next Great Save competition and could receive $50,000 if they win.

The competition is put on by the National Trust of Canada. Voting takes place from January 20th to February 23rd.

La Vieille Maison is one of ten finalists in Canada and the only one for Nova Scotia.

The building is an exact restoration of the homes built by Acadian settlers in 1768.

The Museum’s Association says if they are chosen the funds will go towards some much-needed repairs.
