Casey was picked up by the Wildcats in the fourth round of the 2020 QMJHL draft. He recorded two goals and four assists in 30 games since joining the QMJHL.

Dassylva, meanwhile, joined the Drakkar in 2021 after being drafted in the second round of the QMJHL draft. He has played in 14 games to date.

The Sea Dogs traded two players in recent weeks in order to get more draft picks for the upcoming seasons.

Forward Connor Trenholm was traded to Moncton in exchange for a second-round selection in 2023 and a second-round selection in 2025.

And veteran forward Cam MacDonald was sent to Gatineau in exchange for a first-round selection and a second-round selection in 2024.
