Vitalite Health Network has confirmed the death of a patient in the Emergency Department at Edmundston Regional Hospital.
Few details were released, but a news release states, the person died on Wednesday.
The President and CEO Dr. France Desrosiers said she is saddened by the turn of events.
She adds a thorough analysis is underway to accurately determine what happened and make any required improvements.
