A recent spring of road sign thefts in Meteghan are being investigated by the RCMP.
They say in the past few weeks, Meteghan RCMP have received complaints of about 15 road signs being stolen.
Anyone found tampering with, removing, or possessing provincial signs, could face theft and possession of stolen property charges.
The RCMP are asking anyone with information to call 902-645-5326 or contact Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
They say the theft of even one road sign can have a deadly consequence for a road user.
